Finally a chance to update on the bike. Work has been progressing slowly. The frame, sub-frames and engine cradles have been powder coated. The colour is a lot lighter than i exxpected, but i think i will put it all together and see how it looks. More parts have been arriving regularly and i am getting close to the point where i will be able to start putting a few pieces together.

I also picked up another almost complete FZ750, which i am considering rebuilding once i have finished this one. Until that time, it will be a parts bike.

Just a quick update on the FZ. Some of the parts have been sand blasted and are ready to be painted. I will hopefully get started on the paint next week. I have also taken a quick look at the carby. This thing is properly seized! I may well have to soak it for a week in fuel or kero to free some of these screws up a bit. I have also been trying to source new o-rings etc but i have not had much luck. The best i can tell they are Mikuni BDS34 carbys.

I have new project! Yes another one.

This one is a 1985 FZ750 that is need of being put back together. A lot of the parts have seen better days, but most if it isn’t beyond a little TLC. I have start a small amount of work on the front fork inners, but nothing major yet.
